Known malicious imagery can be identified using perceptual hashing techniques such as pHash and dHash. Aegis also detects common threats including NSFW bait and typosquatting.

Many Discord scams are sent from compromised accounts. The 7-day timeout prevents the account from continuing to spread the scam in that server while the owner has time to secure their account.
No. Aegis currently uses other threat detection techniques, including perceptual hashing. AI and machine learning are not currently part of the detection system.
